This site does not set cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. No advertising cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no session cookies on the public site.
Why there is no banner
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations require consent before storing or accessing information on your device, unless it is strictly necessary. Since we store nothing, no consent is required and a banner would be asking your permission for something that is not happening.
The one thing worth telling you
This site currently loads its two typefaces from Google Fonts. That does not set a cookie, but it does mean your browser makes a request to Google's servers, and that request includes your IP address. We are moving to serving the fonts from our own servers so that no third-party request is made at all. [TO CONFIRM]
When you sign in
Once accounts are live, signing in will require one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in for the length of your session. That is exempt from the consent requirement, it does no tracking, and it is deleted when you sign out. If we ever introduce anything beyond that, we will ask first.

Where a page embeds a video it uses the no-cookie player, so nothing is stored on your device unless you press play.
